The RRII provides practical guides for investors on advancing reconciliation and incorporating Indigenous values into investment decision-making.
This report on business and reconciliation provides an update on corporate Canada’s progress in advancing reconciliation since the release of a benchmark report by SHARE in 2017.
Drawing on the knowledge and experiences of a diverse group of Indigenous finance experts and community leaders, this new guide aims to help Indigenous investors align their investment policies and practices with their values and aspirations in ways that build on the stewardship protocols and traditions that have supported Indigenous communities for countless generations.
With input from 48 Canadian investment managers and advisors, RRII developed a framework to describe actions that investment managers can take to advance reconciliation and Indigenous rights recognition.
This guide helps investment organizations across Canada to think about the role that they can play to advance reconciliation.
